EXPERIENTIAL INSTALLATION

The reality for Tucson’s Symphony Orchestra was that attendance was aging, dwindling and leaving the arts intitution in the shadows. Instead of classic paid ads or billboards, we decided to pitch an immersive sound booth at the heart of Tucson’s small-buisiness shopping district (commonly visited by a wide range of the city’s diverse population). 

We swapped the stiff, black-tie associations of classical music for something more galactic and reminicient of an acid trip. We wanted to evoke the kind of sensory transcendence that onyl a live 100-piece symphony inspires, echoed by the imagery of the equally awe-striking Sonoran Desert monsoon.
